A longstanding School Psychologist, Licensed Psychoeducational Specialist and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in South Carolina who enjoys every moment of helping others unlock the high- performing futures they deserve. As a specialist who has worked directly with students and families in the educational setting for the last 11+ years, I hold extensive expertise involving psychoeducational evaluations, psychological assessments, and leading individual and group therapies for children, teens, and adults. Even more, I enjoy leveraging that dynamicity to not just support others during their unique mental health journey, but ultimately help them recognize their innate worth, find balance, and feel confident as they shift from merely surviving to genuinely living.

Native to Northwest Ohio, I learned early on that the mental health field was the passion I wanted to pursue. Part of that stems from being raised by a mother who worked in special education, part from witnessing my younger sister struggle with significant mental health issues beginning at a young age, and part from my naturally altruistic nature. With this as my base, it became the catalyst for me to attain a BS in Psychology from The University of Southern Indiana along with MS and Education Specialists degrees in School Psychology from The Citadel. Since then, I have worked diligently in the public school systems across various locations, including South Carolina, Virginia, and with the Department of Defense Education Activity in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Wiesbaden, Germany. During this time, I worked with individuals with various underlying mental conditions. Some of the more notable ones include ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, and gender dysmorphia.

From then to now, nothing has made me happier than having the opportunity to help all walks of life heal from the past, align with the present, and attain the stepping-stones they merit to build fulfilled, happy, and balanced lives. From tailored evaluations to executing actionable steps, I enjoy supporting others on
their journey to overcoming the many psychological adversities hindering them personally, academically, and professionally. I believe that mental health healing is not a race, and that everyone has the ability to break past emotional, physical, and mental blocks to progress into the best versions of themselves – and sometimes all it takes to begin recognizing that is connecting with a professional who values the trajectory of your mental health and happiness as much as you do.

I see clients virtually through telehealth only and the hours are generally Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-3:00, Saturdays from 9:00-12:00, and Sundays by appointment. The office telephone number is 803-401-5644 and the voicemail is confidential.
