Hello! My name is Kali Blue and I am currently receiving my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of South Carolina. This fall I will be working alongside Carolina Assessment Services as a practicum student. I look forward to working with and learning from the clinicians here and assisting clients with their various needs.
Going forward, I would like to receive training in EMDR and trauma-informed care to better assist clients as they learn to cope with their trauma. I am passionate about assisting clients through trauma and grief and with issues such as anxiety and depression. I believe that mental health matters and that a healthy society is cultivated by healthy individuals. My goal is to help clients become their best selves by promoting personal autonomy and providing excellent care. I tend to take an existential approach to counseling, where clients can dive deep into their purpose and values. I believe that every person has a purpose and I want to work alongside individuals as they unearth their own.
