Hi! Welcome to my page. I appreciate you for stopping by! My name is Ashley Waddington and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in South Carolina. I am also a Licensed Supervisor Candidate (LPC-SC) in the state of South Carolina.
I have a wide range of experiences to include inpatient rehabilitation facilities, psychiatric hospitals, state Vocational Rehabilitation, college counseling, and private practice. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of challenges using creativity, optimism, empowerment, active listening, and solution-focused skills. It’s important to me to meet you exactly where you are and have a relationship with you built on trust, compassion, and honesty.
The focus of my training in therapy has been around Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed care, somatic experiencing and getting back in touch with your body, trauma-informed yoga, rational-emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and grief and loss. It’s important to me to offer choice in the clients I work with and provide them a safe place to recover and move forward from chronic negative thinking and adverse experiences.
I would love to travel this journey with you. Please get in touch with me to set up a free 20 minute phone consultation to make sure we are an appropriate match for services. The best phone number to reach me is 803-401-5644.
